Bram Droulers is a Belgian filmmaker based in Brussels whose work involves creating fictional narratives by mixing reality with pre-existing elements, often pop culture phenomena, to tell universal stories. His film work draws inspiration from directors such as Brian De Palma, David Lynch and Chantal Akerman, as well as from the radical writing of playwright Sarah Kane.

Bram also occasionally composes music, initially heavily influenced by film soundtracks, blending post-punk and pop to create a form of musique concrète. Several albums are available online, including his debut EP, Sun, released on limited-edition vinyl in 2020.

A graduate in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins in London, Bram has self-produced and directed several films, both short and feature-length, and has presented, exhibited and screened his work internationally. His first feature film, Phoenix, was screened at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2021, as part of the Bright Future section. This will be followed by Painville (2024) and Petra! (2025), forming The Electricity Trilogy.
